Love the Mountains

The mountains have always been a place of joy and peace for me... From my earliest memories as a family going up camping together. They are a place I long to return often.... Joe and I had a nice drive to the Teton's and Old Faithful this summer.... I would love to spend a couple weeks in the mountains, just enjoying my surroundings.... BLISS

Trip to Utah Fair Days

Here's just a couple snapshots of our two little boys who brighten our days and warm our hearts. Can I just say, we are SO BLESSED! We are cherishing every moment we get to spend together and loving the long summer days of playing together and being with one another. Life is SO GOOD!

Riding "Doc"

What a fun Saturday morning our boys spent riding "Doc" Grandpa & Grandma's horse in Utah. We were out in the corral all morning long watching them ride round and round again. Here's just a few snapshots of them enjoying every minute of it. Aunt Whitney Joe's little sister helped take them round and round...

Rodeo with Grandpa & Grandma

We had such a fun weekend with Joe's parents! Isaac and Charlie LOVED going to the rodeo and seeing all the animals and of course the SILLY clown! What a great night we shared together....

Parade with Grandma & Grandpa!

What a great time we had in Utah with Grandpa and Grandma Panter. They took us all to the Preston Parade. Isaac and Charlie loved catching candy and seeing the little pony's! What a fun night! Two little boys BLESSED with the BEST grandparents in the WORLD!

The South Hills

Needed a little peace for the day... So I took Isaac and Charlie and we went up to the South Hills to enjoy the mountains and have a Picnic together. IThere favorite part was getting rocks out of the stream and then tossing them back in.... Isaac led up on a nature walk and told us what to watch out for... Pretty cute to listen to him... I feel so thankful for my dad and the gift of a love of the mountains that he has given me. I hope to give Isaac & Charlie that same gift. Amazing how some time up in the mountains can make you feel so good!

Dierkes Lake!

We had a fun afternoon at Dierkes lake fishing! Isaac and Charlie loved having the little fish eat the worms off the hooks! It was a beautiful afternoon! Isaac really loved fishing! He is a natural! Charlie you could say, liked fishing for about twenty minutes and then it was snack time and he wanted to do something else! He is four afterall! I Loved spending the day with the boys....

4th of July Fun!

We had a great fourth of July with our friends the Hildons as well as Grandma Lucy, Jon and Taylor! We enjoyed lots of laughter courtesy of Ian and Lorriane! Enjoyed a BBQ together and spent the evening watching and lighting fireworks! Kids loved making smores in the front yard in the fire pit! So thankful to Celebrate the fourth of July with those we love and hold dear to us....

Blacksmith Fork Canyon... Visit to Grandpa!

Spent part of our weekend visiting our family in Utah. We made a visit up to see Grandpa May in the Canyon. Spent some time playinjg in the park while we were there. It was so nice to go to the mountians and to relax and visit for the afternoon! Here we all are playing at the park. Isaac and Charlie had fun playing on Grandpa's little motorcycle.

San Diego, Beach

One of our favorite days on vacation was visiting the San Diego, Beach. Isaac and Charlie loved running into the waves and playing in the sand. Nothing more relaxing then sitting on the beach and listening to the waves break....

Disneyland!

Just a few MEMORIES we had together at Disneyland... RIDES we loved were BUZZ Lightyear... Woody's Roundup was amazing... and Joe and Isaac thought the Indian Jones ride was the COOLEST! Here just a GLIMPSE of our three days of MAGICAL FUN!

Read, read, read....We LOVE to READ

We started the summer READING program through the local Library. Last week we went on a TREASURE hunt for SEA animals at the Library and this week we learned about clouds and rain... Isaac & Charlie made there first "Rain Makers"! Had a fun time picking out books together to bring home and read.

Summer Days...

SUMMER is finally here and we are ENJOYING spending a few of our mornings at TENNIS lessons.... Isaac and Charlie are having LOTS of fun... First day that we went Charlie was a bit scared to play so I stood by him for a bit... and then before I knew it, HE was bouncing around PLAYING tennis with all the other four year olds. I am so ENJOYING the quality time we are having TOGETHER and lingering around after tennis lesson to play in the PARK.... So thankful for SUMMER!!

Universal Studios

We started our day at Universal Studios watching the "Waterworld" show... It was an action packed show which of course any guy likes... So, of course Joe and Isaac really loved it! On our adventure to Universal Studios Isaac and Charlie met one of Charlie's favorite character's "Curious George"! Afterward's we went on the Universal backstage tour which let you see how the movies were made and we could see some of the stage lots... Jaws was the best part when he came out of the water..... Good times!! Afterward's It took some persuading to get Charlie to stand by Joe and the shark for a picture! Later we headed down to the lower lot of the park and Joe and Isaac rode "The Mummy" and they both agreed it was a pretty intense ride! Thankful for the Good times together! Love the memories we are sharing with our boys....

San Diego, Zoo

We weren't quite sure what to expect when we spent the day at the San Diego Zoo, but have to say, we all were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed seeing the animals. We loved seeing the Panda's! Couldn't believe they could actually sleep comfortably in the tree.. This panda was fast asleep and didn't seem to be bothered by all the people from the line who were talking and taking pictures... Amazing! Loved this snap shot of Joe and our boys by the Alligator section of the park... One of Joe's favorites to visit at the Zoo was the enormous elephants! Isaac and Charlie loved crawling all over the plastic Elephants.. Great relaxing day at the Zoo!
